Try before you buy.

Option 1

Scenario.  Purchasing a caravan can be a daunting task.  You can spend all weekend looking at vans till you are ‘caravanned out’ and can’t even remember what you saw first!  If you have been looking for a while, then you will know that there are so many different layouts and it is always a compromise in one area or another.  You may even have narrowed your selection down to a couple of vans, but which one is best?

So this is what we suggest – the best way to see if its right for you, is to spend a night in it and find if it works for you.  Why not take one of the vans away for the night and see if the layout works?  If it doesn’t then try the other.

Option 2

Scenario.  So you have narrowed it down to two caravans and you have bought the one you think best suits you.  After a few weeks you find something that doesn’t quite work for you, and you wish you had bought the other van you had been looking at.

No problem – if it’s not more than 30 days since you bought the caravan, simply bring it back and we will exchange it for the other one (assuming we still have it!).

The T and C’s

Option 1

If you want to take a van away for a night, we charge a rental fee of $150/per 24hr period.  This will be deducted from the price of the van when you buy it.  You will also need to leave a bond of $1,000 and provide suitable ID.  There will also be a rental agreement form to complete.

$150 might appear to be a lot, but we are only offering this to serious buyers, and, it will be deducted from the cost of the caravan if you purchase.  This option gives you the ability to make the correct choice and not spend $20,000+ on the wrong caravan.

(Also, we wouldn’t want to think we were providing a free caravan rental for someone that just needed a van for the weekend!)

Option 2

If you choose to change the caravan within the 30 day period, it would be for the other van you were considering. If we have sold that van, then unfortunately we are unable to change it.  But if we have something similar then we can probably work a deal out with you.

The replacement caravan must be within 10% of what you paid, i.e. if you bought a van for $25,000 then the exchange van should be no less than $22,500.  You can of course increase the purchase value.

We would also charge a valeting fee of $100 for exchanged caravans.
